The torrential rains this week have resulted in power outages, particularly with damage in the low-lying areas. The areas of Leedstown, Foneswood and Placid Bay have numerous members without power at this time. Closed roads and flooded areas are hampering the restoration process. Line crews are responding to these outages but limited access to the damage may delay power restoration. Thank you for your patience and understanding as Northern Neck Electric Co-op works to restore power despite these access obstacles.

Stay away from any downed power line or tree on the line. Notify NNEC of any downed power lines, trees on the line, or a power outage by calling 333-3621 or 800-243-2860.
