Greg White
President & CEO
Greg W. White was selected by the Board of Directors of Northern Neck Electric Cooperative as its President and Chief Executive Officer effective August 1, 2005.
White was Senior Vice President of Power Supply for Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC), a generation and transmission cooperative, in Glen Allen, Virginia.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete White, he grew up on Gwynns Island and graduated from Mathews High School. He received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1974 and earned his MBA at Virginia Commonwealth University. White and his wife, Carolyn, who is Director of Human Resources at Rappahannock Electric Cooperative, have two sons, Casey and Jared.
White began his career in 1974 as a distribution engineer with Florida Power and Light Company. In 1977, he returned to Virginia as a planning engineer with Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) in Fredericksburg. At REC, White was promoted to Manager of Planning Engineering and earned his Professional Engineering Certificate from the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1979.
In 1990, White joined Old Dominion Electric Cooperative as Director of Power Supply and was later promoted to Assistant Vice President of Engineering and Operations. From 1995-1999, he served as Executive Vice President of the Virginia, Maryland and Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives, before rejoining ODEC in 1999.

Anne C. Kenner
Administration Department
The Administration Department is responsible for administration of human resources, data processing, training programs, meeting coordination, strategic planning, Affirmative Action, and policies and procedures. Personnel in this department also handle capital credits, easement recordation, salary administration, provide secretarial services, coordinate the Annual Meeting of Members, and work closely with the Board of Directors.
Jim Moss
Operations Department
This department is responsible for constructing all new electrical facilities as well as altering and upgrading existing facilities as needed. Personnel in this department operate and maintain the outside electric system. They are also responsible for tree trimming, right-of-way clearing, restoration of electric service, procuring materials and supplies, and handling service-related calls from members. Operations personnel also repair and maintain the Cooperative's vehicles and equipment and coordinate the Cooperative's safety program.
W. Patrick Henry
Engineering Department
The Engineering Department is responsible for long-range system engineering, preparing system work plans, coordinating system protective devices, and overseeing major transmission and distribution line and substation work. Personnel in this department also work with members to provide new or upgraded service, obtain necessary easements, test meters, transformers and related equipment, and maintain the Cooperative's computer mapping system.
Andrew Packett
Public Relations Department
This department is responsible for public, member and employee relations, informational advertising, energy conservation and load management programs, and providing information to our members through the insert pages of Cooperative Living magazine. Personnel in this department advise members on efficient uses of electricity, present school and civic programs, and coordinate the Cooperative's surge-protection program.
Martin R. Mothershead
Accounting Department
The Accounting Department is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Cooperative. Also, accounting pays all the bills of the Cooperative and invests all the money that is available for investing, prepares monthly financial and board reports, files all regulatory financial reports and assists in the preparation of rate cases. Payroll, inventory control and work orders are additional duties that are performed by personnel in this department.
Richard McLendon
Customer Service Department
This department is responsible for the mailing of and receiving payment for members' bills, handling member inquiries concerning bills, meter readings, routine service requests, products and services offered by the Cooperative, etc. Levelized billing, collection procedures and billing adjustments are additional duties performed by personnel in this department. Our Customer Service Representatives are available to assist members Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The personnel also read members' meters periodically and install and maintain load management switches on hot water heaters of members who participate in the Cooperative's load management program. The Customer Service Department is also responsible for the collection of delinquent accounts and provides logistical support for the Annual Meeting of Members.
